In 2014, I was running around among the luxury brands that we sold at the clothing store where I worked. My passion for the elegant details grew, details that made the garments fit as if they were tailor-made for each individual customer. A discerning and conscious customer came with high expectations, a customer who expected to be met by an equally discerning and competent salesperson.
On my wrist I wore my handmade bracelets that I used to make in the evenings. They were simple but well thought out and made of natural stones. I remember how I used to spread out a variety of stones in front of me and carefully pick them up one by one to carefully examine each stone.
I carefully selected one stone at a time and placed them in a thoughtful sequence. Sometimes I chose a well-balanced order, other times a completely unpredictable one. I believe that the choice of order for the stones depended on the unique character of each stone and as much on the personality of the wearer. But one thing was certain: nothing was done just for the sake of it; each piece of jewelry had its own story and was given the time and love it needed to be completed.
More and more people began to notice my work, and interest in handmade bracelets grew. At first, this was just a hobby and the proceeds were donated to charity as a gesture of gratitude for life and its blessings.
In 2016, the brand “Stones And Metals” was born – a simple but unwavering name. It was also when I first started showcasing my bracelets on social media.
Requests from repeat customers began to pour in for other types of jewelry, such as pendants, earrings and, above all, rings. Stones And Metals became more than just bracelets.
